I took pictures today when I decided to take bus 100 all the way to cityhall area instead of alighting at Aljunied and taking the train down. Wrong move - cos I didn't know 100 doesn't stop near suntec but instead, after Raffles Hotel, it goes all the way to the padang area. So I had to walk in the hot sun all the way to suntec. At least something good came out of my little misadventure. I love the fountain, and the war memorial's terribly poignant. That area was brimming with languour today, and I kinda regret rushing to get to suntec cos everyone was late anyway.
Sigh, they can't book out today cos they have to do areacleaning till 1am?? Eh? He's so sweet.. actually grabbing concertina wire while wearing a singlet just so he could get it over fast and try to book out tonight to see me tomorrow. You're so adorable :)
Oh and I'm currently reading Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.
