Chew came over after training today and we headed to Safti to watch the commissioning parade. He was in no1! Wawawawawa he looked damn cool, but it'd have been even better if he were the one commissioning. Nevermind, SIX MORE MONTHS! Hehehe. Anyway, we didn't have tickets, but I saw Lta Adrian and got him to pull strings so that we could get onto the grandstand.
Oh, I'll be going to Foxtrot's Social Night too with Thong, as a favour. Fort Canning - nice place. Makes me wonder why on earth Air Wing's Social Night is at FURAMA and Sierra's is at CHEVRONS. Gawsh. That's Foxtrot for you - welfare wing.
Interview's on Monday, and I got this feeling that no matter how well I prepare, they've kinda written me off already. I don't know.. I've never felt this unsure and jittery before. Honestly, I'll have nothing to lose if I don't get SMS and they offer me SAS or LSA instead. For SAS, I'll get to go to Aussie/study locally, which is what I prefer, but of course, SMS is of higher calibre, higher prestige... if you put it that way. I won't be too sore about not getting it, but there's bound to be a bit of disappointment - and I hate being disappointed. Ohwell, at least I know that I'm definitely staying in the force whatever they give me, so my career's pretty much stable . Nevertheless, I'm gonna prepare myself for the worst.
Managed to organise a dinner with all the artsfac girls at Din Tai Fung next Wed. Only Sam won't be there cos she's abroad. It's really been a while.. and it's the last time we're all gonna gather before Bea leaves on the 16th. Makes you wonder - where did all the time go? I've been in the SAF for nearing six months now, and things have really changed. Everything's different now it's scary :(
