when time and confusion collide

the name is vanessa but everybody calls me van. estranged ex-NJCanoeist of 2004/05 K2-500m. I'm a WSO (FIGHTER) trainee and I'm doing my BA(Hons) English and Politics in the University of York. I like fast cars, literature, art and tulips. I cannot cook. When I was younger I wanted to be an astronaut. I am hopeless at math or anything remotely related to formulae. I detest parsley. I love the colour burgundy. My Macbook is my bestfriend and I've played with Macs since I was 15 so no, I didn't jump on the bandwagon. I have lofty dreams but I'm often afraid to chase them. I don't get angry I get disappointed. I intend to learn Spanish and German. Oh, and I think Liverpool kicksmajorass - I am not a fair-weathered fan. I think ambiguity is beautiful.

Chew pangseh-ed me today :( Was supposed to mug at KAP with him, but when I reached already, he msged and said he couldn't make it. ARRGH! So I sat alone and studied for three hours straight. I didn't even go get food. Okay, that was cos I had no money, but that's besides the point. Then I managed to get my portable ATM along. :) Thanks for coming to my rescue, I would have died of hunger. Bumped into Tom and Vivien, and filled them in on where the seniors lived cos of Mr Yong's round-singapore run.

I'm hopelessly BROKE beyond comprehension. I think I only have one dollar plusplus in my wallet now. Looks like I have to dig into my savings, but I hate doing that. It breaks my heart to see the notes dwindle in number :( Desperately trying to think if anyone owes me money. Guess not.

My parents are visiting the computer fair tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be the new owner of a Powerbook soon. Need a new desk. Ikea's catalogue came very conveniently in the mail today! :)
